Labour Day In India 

    International Labour Day is generally designed to honour the Labours And it is celebrated on May 1of every year to honour the hard work and efforts of Labours.

History:

 Before 1889, all the labourers were assigned to work more than 8 hours per day. A resolution formed by the Marxist International Socialist Congress stood forward to demand for the eight hours working per day on May 1. In the earlier days, all the labours were worked for 15 hours per day.  And the great protestation started.  As a result,   they are asked to work only eight hours per day. To remember their success, May 1 was decided to celebrate International Labours Day.

India – Labour Day: 

In India, Labour Day  By the tireless efforts of the Leader of Communist Malayapuram Singaravelu Chettiyar who asked the government to celebrate may 1 as a national holiday to honour the efforts of Labours.
